My Amsterdam weekend break @ Hotel V Nesplein

So last week I visited the beautiful city of Amsterdam, I've always loved this city because it's just so free and exhilarating. I decided to go with one of my good friend's Denzel to celebrate his birthday. We thought why not go for a long weekend just to explore the sites of Amsterdam.

We stayed at Hotel V Nesplein based right in the city of Amsterdam. I have honestly never stayed in such a beautiful centrally located hotel. When I've stayed a in hotel It's either too far from the city but stunning or its very close to the city but not as picturesque as inside. When we entered Hotel V Nesplein we were greeted by a lovely gentleman at reception who kindly helped us with our reservation and was nice enough to let us check in early. Our flight was at 6.10am from London Gatwick so we arrived in Amsterdam super early and maybe not late enough for afternoon check in. Hotel V was stunning it was just so artistic and cool it was such a Instagramable hotel "LOL" just because inside it has this artistic vibe and a really homely energy.

We were quickly checked in and ready to go up to our room, even the lifts going up to our room were so cool. I loved how you needed to swipe your room card once before to get into the main floor of your room. So as we entered our room I couldn’t believe how big it was, it was spacious and very eccentric. Each wall had a different material of wallpaper which was just amazing, Hotel V was definitely on my top hotel list already and I haven't even slept there yet LOL.

The room was equipment with 2 big beautiful bouncy beds and a gorgeous leather chair to chill on, also a huge beautifully lit bathroom with a gorgeous power shower. I'm always quite particular when it  comes to hotel bathrooms, just because I feel like the lighting in a bathroom has to be so perfect or it can automatically ruin the hotel.

Hotel V also had a gorgeous restaurant downstairs which is called The Lobby Amsterdam. Honestly when you enter the Lobby it's just so chic and romantic but also very edgy at the same time. You can either eat inside where it's dimly lit or you can eat outside on some comfortable benches having a lovely cocktail. Me and Denzel had dinner here to celebrate his birthday and we spent our first morning having breakfast here. The breakfast is INSANE! It’s a buffet so you can order as much as you want which was fantastic. I ended up going for the eggs benedict with American pancakes and bacon which were divine.

The service at The Lobby was insane, each staff member was so friendly and polite and helped us if we needed any questions answering. The food we had for Denzel's birthday was gorgeous I think we both had the duck but you can see that in my VLOG video. The duck was so juicy and tender and it came with some lovely mash YUM!!!

Hotel V Nesplein made us feel so welcome and made our stay in Amsterdam the best ever. I feel like the hotel makes 75% of your trip because its where you stay and its where you wake up feeling the best, because Hotel V was so  outstanding I would definitely come back and stay here 100% percent.

Amsterdam was crazy I can't remember a time where I've laughed so much, I'm really pleased the weather was amazing while we were there. I'm glad we explored most of the city and hit up some museums like Anne Frank and also did a bit of Vintage shopping and checked out some streetwear stores like the Daily Paper. Amsterdam will always have a place in my heart and I definitely want to visit again before the year ends.

Go check out Hotel V Nesplein Here.
