Grenson x Liberty Spring 2016

Last week I went to the Grenson x Liberty press launch for the collaboration of their new shoes.
I literally fell in love because I've been such a huge Grenson fan for the longest time so when I heard they were producing 2 of their most popular styles in the famous classic Liberty print, I almost died and went to heaven. Grenson bring that classic, modern edge to any shoe they make. If you remember a few weeks ago I posted about their collaboration with New Balance where they produced the most stunning versatile trainer / elegant shoe.

Grenson have done it again and just blown me away because I like every style even the women's. Grenson have produced an elegant Archie brogue and a Fred  brogue style boot which comes in 2 colourways - Blue and white Liberty printed leather with blue nubuck wing cap and counter.
. Then for women they have produced a Emily brogue and a Clara tassel loafer in the Liberty print also. Grenson have produced 2 colourways for the women also - Emily is in two colourways – blue and white Liberty printed leather with blue nubuck wing tip and counter and black and white Liberty printed leather with black calf wingtip and counter. All styles are lined with Liberty’s signature purple calf leather.
Clara is available in the same colour ways blue and white or black and white, with the tassels and quarters in calf leather and nubuck with the apron and saddle details in the matching Liberty prints.

I would suggest now its pay weekend! Get yourself down to Liberty asap to check out these beautiful shoes. I will definitely be getting myself a pair when I next heard into Liberty because they just add edge to any outfit!!!

My Winter Skincare Routine!

So guys as you know it's so cold in London at the moment, my skin is going crazy because of the extreme change of weather. One day my skin can be super oily and then the next day my skin can really dry. It's annoying but I try use the best products I can to help control my skin from being really oily or being really dehydrated.

I remember attending a La Roche-Posay blogger event last year and I used their products for a while then stopped because I had to finish the remaining products I bought within the year. So it’s a new year and I decided to give my skin a whole new fresh routine, so I pulled out my La Roche products and since then I haven't looked back. I really wanted to use these products for at least 1-3 months before giving you guys a review.

For everyday I use the Effaclar purifying foaming gel for oily/sensitive skin which is just a simple foaming face wash, that doesn’t leave my skin feeling all tight and hard, but instead gives me the most beautiful soft clean skin ever. I just love the packaging because it's just so minimalistic  and definitely unisex.

We all have those moments where we are getting ready and we suddenly notice a little bump on our chin or forehead and start screaming the house down. Well them days are gone babes, this product right here is the Oracle of life! The Effaclar A.I is a targeted breakout  corrector, just put a pea drop on a incoming breakout each morning/night and that spot will be gone by the next 24 hours. YASS!

The Effaclar Duo + is also a must have for me I use this every morning, it's just amazing if you have oily blemish prone skin. I have definitely seen noticed a change in my skin's texture and appearance using this, It has made my dark pigmented areas on my face slightly lighter so I don’t have to use so much concealer every now and then.

When I was in Bangkok last week I spotted a whole pharmacy full of La Roche so I ended up buying the Sensi White foaming cream. On the container it says for "Sensitive Asian Skin" LOL (*Something I am 100% Not) Anyways the woman at the pharmacy told me it's for anyone that has pigmentation because it's a foaming face wash that lifts pigmentation scars. My scars aren't that bad but when I take my base off I can definitely see some scars, which I got from having my laser hair removal on my face.

While I was in Bangkok I picked up my favorite NARS eye cream. I always leave this eye cream overnight in the fridge and apply it before work In the morning and before I go to bed just to de-puff my eyes and keep them moisturized. This product is quite pricey but it's 100% worth it because it gives me that instant cooling feeling under my eye.

One product that I had to repurchase was the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I first used this when I was 21 and saw no results because I wasn’t using it consistently. Now I'm 26 and my skin isn't as tight I love using this because I can really see a glow and a change in the appearance of my skin overtime. This  product is treatment so you don’t see instant results using it just one time, you at least need to use it for 3 months to see any kind of effect.

My favorite concealer at the moment, well of all time has to be the NARS radiant creamy concealer. This concealer can be used anywhere but I just love it for the under the eyes. Its so creamy and it blends like butter under the eye to give you that radiant finish. I use the color Café 1 as an all over skin concealer but use Amande and Caramel as a highlight. This concealer is worth the investment.

My Trip To Bangkok

So last week I went to Thailand, it was very short notice but had to be one of the best trips I've ever taken. When it was confirmed that I was going I was literally over the moon, then it hit me. This would be one of the longest haul flights I've ever been on  since I was 13 when I went to Florida.

Packing for Bangkok was totally easy, just because I remember before I started flying so frequently I used to pack everything I had just for a one week trip! which is never cute! I just hate carrying so much stuff with me to the airport. The less I have in my hand, the more I can play with the fragrance and skincare at duty free duh!

I remember feeling totally tired at Heathrow just because flying from their takes so much of my energy. 1st of all the airport is quite far from Greenwich as I usually  fly from Gatwick airport and Heathrow is so big. Your departure gates can literally be a 20 minute walk which includes a separate shuttle train.

So anyways the  flight to Bangkok wasn't to bad, my friend gave me a valium which knocked me out for 7 hours. It was literally the best feeling ever, I don't even remember falling asleep but I started to watch Fantastic Four the new casted film which was a disappointment.

13 hours later I arrived in Thailand, the airport seemed super clean and just everything I expected. The only thing I found weird was that all over the airport there was adverts for bleaching skincare. In Asia they seem to think having lighter skin is everything and beyond though.

After avoiding 3 dodgy men that wanted me to get in their taxi to overcharge me I finally found the official taxi rank in Bangkok. I still can't believe how hot it was and my ass was in a suede track suit. My armpits were stinging and my forehead was as moist mess. All I wanted to do was get to the hotel put my feet up and have an ice cold bailey on the rocks with a cherry in the middle.

I arrived at the Metropolitan by Como hotel in Bangkok, the customer service was insane. As I arrived someone was there to  take my bags and sit me down straight away. A beautiful thai lady bowed before she spoke to me and handed me a cold flannel to cool myself down.

I don't want to bore you with my story about Bangkok but all I will say its, The city is stunning and just oozes culture. Everyone is so nice not once did I feel out of place, I've been to places before like Istanbul where the local people just made me feel like an alien.

I would love to go back to Thailand again but travel to all the different islands. Thailand was just one of the best trips I've ever experienced in life. Obviously after my love for Dubai of course, don't forget to check out my Bangkok VLOG.
