Sometimes A Little Grey

So I love wearing this grey tracksuit when I want a comfy day or even before I fly out sometimes. So I thought let me switch it up and add my fedora and my white trainers to make it smart but also casual. To me fashion is all about being comfortable in what you’re wearing and this outfit definitely has to be the most comfortable piece I own. Is it random to say I felt naked HAAHAH! I think its always fun to switch up the smart and casual looks as you never know what the outcome will be. Plus it’s a nice change from me doing an all black outfit!

Amazon Sunglasses Store

Who doesn’t love Amazon! You can literally get anything you need from there and have it on next day delivery in a snap of a finger! So when I heard they launched a new sunglasses store I almost died. If you know me, you will know my obsession for sunglasses I have like over 33 pairs its insane. Amazon announced the launch of its new Sunglasses Store, which brings together a different range of stylish frames for this coming season.

 I feel like I’m going to be spoilt for choice! They will be doing a range of brands from   Brands include Ray-Ban, AM Eyewear, LDNR and Converse.

AfroPunk Paris

 

So guys I am so jet lagged I feel like I haven’t slept in my bed properly for ages! I went Dubai the other week and this weekend I visited Paris. Paris is such a beautiful city, when you think of Paris you think the city of love and high fashion. Some friends and me attended Paris for Afropunk, which is a festival that’s usually in Brooklyn bringing together a lot of underground and popular eccentric artists showcasing their talents. Before the festival we had 1day to visit the beautiful sights of Paris like the Louvre and the main shopping district. I had such a good time literally the weather was just so beautiful and walking around and doing nothing but vintage shopping and soaking in the Paris vibes was a good feeling.

I didn’t know what to expect from Afropunk because I’ve never been before but it totally exceeded all expectations. The vibe was just so crazy, everybody was socializing and the performances from Lion Babe to Willow and Jaiden Smith totally knocked it out of the window. I didn’t realize how talented the smith kids were, Jaiden totally destroyed the stage he has huge stage presence. Whereas Willow captured our hearts with her beautiful vocal range and harmonies YES GURL!

I’m so glad Afropunk was in Paris because it made me fall in love with Paris all over again! Plus Afropunk made me want to visit New York when they have it in Brooklyn.

Paris you were amazing!! I went with the best bunch of friends ever MWAH!!

The Hoxton Holborn Review

So a few weeks ago I got the chance to stay at The Hoxton hotel in Holborn. It was literally so beautiful and just one the most unique hotels I have ever been to. The Hoxton hotel group has 2 hotel locations in London the other one is located in Shoreditch. I went to the hotel to film a series of Youtube videos because I needed a fresh new space for some exciting new videos. I always drive past this hotel and always thought wow I need to visit that hotel one day so I did YAY!!! When I walked in the hotel I felt it had this vintage modern vibe, which was full of cool business individuals socializing or grabbing a drink/bite to eat. 

This Hotel is definitely a spot to come after work even if you’re not staying at the hotel to just grab a bite to eat or to catch up with some friends.  The location is so easy to find it’s a 35 second walk from the station. When I was checking in the staff were super friendly and so efficient, they got me up to my room so quickly and explained everything so I didn’t get lost on my way up. The Hoxton hotel give you complimentary water and milk in you’re room which is always a bonus, don’t you hate when you have to run and grab water or a dash of milk for breakfast when you’re at a hotel but don’t know the area.

When I arrived and entered my room on the 5^th floor I walked in with a big smile on my face. The room was super gorgeous, as you enter a vintage electronic radio comes on playing some tunes which I did a little dougie too. The room was so polished but so perfect, the space was everything and more. I didn’t feel constricted in the room and I could lay down all my stuff neatly without taking too much space. One thing that makes or breaks a hotel for me is the bathroom. It’s all about lighting! It needs to have a cute shower and a cute big mirror. As soon as I walked into my bathroom I died literally, it was like the heaven of all bathrooms! The lighting was perfect and the mirror was perfect for makeup application and selfies! What more can someone ask for (HAIR FLIP) The shower was like so chic and modern. I also ordered some yummy room service from the downstairs restaurant Hubbard & Bell they do a delicious burger yummy! Which came with the amazing Blueberry desert I asked for, I was in heaven. My room was literally 10/10 for me, I recommend everyone go visit one of their locations if you’re coming to London and want a cool chic space to stay in.
